The year 2024 ends with several remarkable moments for the International School. VNU-IS lecturers, staff, and students have made continuous efforts to obtain outstanding achievements. And now, let’s reflect on the most significant events and achievements of VNU-IS in the year 2024.
Focusing particularly on innovating teaching practices
In 2024, keywords such as “coaching training,” “personalization,” and “research-based learning” have become guiding principles in teaching methodologies at the International School. Faculty members have not only embraced these concepts but also creatively and flexibly integrated them into their teaching practices, significantly enhancing learning outcomes.
Students actively join research groups, undertaking projects and collaborating with lecturers to publish research findings. Internship and practical activities have been diversified, with numerous field trips to major corporations and enterprises providing invaluable learning opportunities.
Corporate experts involved in teaching and sharing experiences have increased significantly in number, fostering a stronger connection between theory and practice. Notably, the International School has collaborated with BKT-Mitsubishi Corporation and Hop Long Technology JSC. to organize short-term courses. These programs offered students hands-on experiences, working with cutting-edge products and technological solutions widely implemented in modern manufacturing facilities.
First Cohort of Dual-Degree Management Science and Marketing Students Graduate
Last year marked a significant milestone, celebrating the graduation of the first cohorts from the dual-degree program in Marketing and Science in Management.
Students from these cohorts experienced a wealth of exciting opportunities, gained valuable knowledge, acquired essential soft skills, and built meaningful connections with new friends. Throughout their academic journey, students in the dual-degree program received continuous support from partner institutions such as Keuka College and HELP University. Every year, delegations from both universities visited and engaged with the students, actively learn about their feedback and aspirations. These visits allowed timely adjustments to be made to address any shortcomings in the training process, ensuring a high-quality educational experience.
