The workshop entitled “how to publish in high impact journals” will cover various aspects of the publication process. It will reflect on the increasing importance of publication in academia and the major differences between the research for degree awards and peer-reviewed research articles.
It will also provide insight into the writing of a good article and important factors to take into account while writing an article. It will provide an editor’s view on what makes a manuscript a good manuscript and will provide insight into the submission and review process and how to avoid common mistakes that can lead to rejection. The workshop will also cover how to address the comments raised by the reviewers and ethical issues in publishing.
The worshop was organized by the VNU-IS Scientist Links (VISL) with the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Muhammad Ali Nasir from the University of Leeds, UK.
