VNU-IS students present their graduation theses for defense

On January 15–16, 2025, students in International Business; Accounting, Analyzing and Auditing; Management Information Systems; Informatics and Computer Engineering, and Business Data Analytics successfully defended their graduation theses.

This year’s thesis topics showcased remarkable diversity, reflecting the educational philosophy of each field. In the technology and engineering domain, highly practical topics focused on artificial intelligence and data science applications in banking, enterprises, and securities. Many projects received high praise from the evaluation committees for their creativity and academic depth.

Economic and financial theses also demonstrated a wide range of themes, keeping pace with societal trends. Students explored issues such as digital finance, big data, financial management, the behavioral patterns of Gen Z consumers, and live-stream e-commerce technology. Several studies yielded promising results, proposing innovative methods, enhancing model accuracy, or developing intelligent applications for businesses with significant real-world potential.

All graduation theses were written entirely in English, rigorously reviewed by faculty members, and conducted in strict adherence to regulations before being presented for defense.

The defense sessions were vibrant and engaging, with students presenting their reports and attentively receiving feedback and critiques from faculty members. Following the defense, students have two weeks to revise and refine their theses before submitting the final versions to the university.
