VNU-IS lecturer works at KL University, India


From November 3rd to 17th, 2024, Dr. Hà Mạnh Hùng, Lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, International School, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi), conducted a working and teaching trip at KL University, India, as a visiting professor.

During his time at KL University, Dr. Hà Mạnh Hùng directly taught courses on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to engineering students. His lectures not only provided in-depth professional knowledge but also stimulated critical thinking and a passion for scientific research. KL University students made a strong impression with their confidence, proactive spirit, and sharp questions, creating a dynamic and inspiring academic atmosphere.


In addition to his teaching duties, Dr. Hà Mạnh Hùng collaborated with specialized departments, such as the Faculty of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, the Cohort AI Faculty, and M.Tech research groups. These working sessions not only opened up opportunities for collaborative research between KL University and the VNU International School but also laid the foundation for AI-driven projects with practical applications, contributing to the advancement of technological innovation.

Notably, during his meetings with the Chancellor of KL University and representatives from renowned institutions across Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia, Dr. Hà Mạnh Hùng played an instrumental role in facilitating pivotal discussions on advancing international academic collaboration. This represents a significant milestone in reinforcing the connections within the global scientific community and paves the way for new opportunities in knowledge exchange and collaborative initiatives among leading educational systems worldwide.

Dr. Hà Mạnh Hùng’s visit to KL University not only provided him with invaluable experiences but also inspired him to innovate teaching methods and draw insights from India’s advanced educational environment. Through this journey, Dr. Hà Mạnh Hùng aims to continue disseminating knowledge and fostering a passion for scientific research among the younger generation, while contributing to elevating the global reputation of the International School.
