The International School received commendation from the Director of Hanoi National University for its outstanding contributions to communication work


The International School – Hanoi National University is honored to be one of the nine units awarded commendation by the Director of Hanoi National University for outstanding achievements in communication work.

In commemoration of the 97th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2022), Hanoi National University held a meeting to express gratitude to the officials working in communication.

At the meeting, Associate Director of Hanoi National University, Mr. Nguyen Hieu, congratulated and acknowledged the contributions of the communication officials within the university. Their significant contributions have played a vital role in promoting the image and brand of Hanoi National University and its member units to the broader community and society.

It can be seen that communication serves as a bridge between Hanoi National University and society, between units and individuals within the university, and between the institution and students. The harmonious combination of internal development and timely, systematic, and creative communication work helps enhance the reputation of Hanoi National University, making it increasingly credible and approachable to friends both domestically and internationally.

Associate Director Nguyen Hieu particularly emphasized the importance of communication activities in the digital age. This is one of the decisive factors for the success of Hanoi National University’s endeavors, including the historic milestone of relocating the university’s headquarters to Hoa Lac, innovating teaching methods, building a smart, green, and digital university, scholarship policies for students and researchers, enrollment programs, and more.

Associate Director Nguyen Hieu expressed his belief that with their rich tradition and intellect, the team of communication officers would continue to keep the flame of passion, creativity, and responsibility for their profession burning bright. They would continuously enhance their expertise, uphold the glorious tradition of 97 years of the Vietnamese revolutionary press. He suggested that the team continue to improve their professional skills and strengthen the internal communication network to facilitate information sharing and support among units, helping Hanoi National University overcome difficulties and challenges, as well as enhance achievements and contributions to the university’s development.

During the meeting, the leadership representatives in charge of communication from the School of Foreign Languages, the International School, interdisciplinary faculties, and the Journalism and Communication Training Institute highly appreciated the vital importance of communication work within their units. They also shared valuable experiences in effective communication work over time.

9 units with outstanding achievements in communication activities have received a Commendation Certificate from the Director of Hanoi National University.

Representatives from the units also hope that in the future, there will be closer collaboration and connectivity among the units. Hanoi National University (HANU) also needs a long-term common communication strategy for the units to closely follow and together disseminate the messages, policies, and mechanisms of the HANU brand to the wider community.

On this occasion, Vice Director of HANU, Nguyen Hieu, awarded the Commendation Certificate from the Director of HANU to 9 units with outstanding contributions to communication activities, including the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Economics, the International School, the Vietnam-Japan University, the Interdisciplinary Faculty, the Center for Education of National Defense and Security, the Institute of Journalism and Communication Education, the School of Education, and the Library and Digital Knowledge Center.

During the past period, the communication work of the International School has continuously innovated and diversified in form and communication methods, achieving a professional and relatively systematic nature, and has created positive effects. The school has contributed to spreading the image, position, and brand of HANU in the community and society. As a result, the school’s image and brand have become more widely known, and the International School has established a certain position in society and on the map of Vietnamese universities.

On the same day, June 21, the Executive Board presented flowers to congratulate the communication officers of the university. Rector Le Trung Thanh sent his best wishes to the communication team and expressed his hope that in the future, the team would innovate and be even more creative in their work, focusing on promoting the core values of the International University and enhancing the personal brands of scientists and lecturers. Associate Professor Le Trung Thanh expressed confidence that the communication team would always lead in building and developing the image and brand of the university.
