TROY ranked in Best Online Colleges in America by Niche


Troy University’s online programs have been recognized among the nation’s best by Niche, an education research website.

TROY was ranked 21st in Niche’s recently released “Best Online Colleges in America.”

“Our recent Niche ranking is a testament to Troy University’s commitment to excellence and the growing value of our degrees,” said Dr. Kerry Palmer, Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. “This recognition reflects the hard work of our faculty, staff and students and also reinforces Troy’s position as a leading institution for online education. As we continue to innovate and excel, a Troy University degree becomes an increasingly powerful asset for our graduates in today’s competitive job market.”

Niche determines its rankings on statistics from the U.S. Department of Education and student reviews.

This ranking is the latest national recognition for online programs achieved by Troy University. TROY’S online graphic design program has been ranked first by Forbes Advisor. Additionally, TROY’s online programs in criminal justice, business and nursing have also been recognized as some of the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report.

Other recent rankings received by the University include The Princeton Review’s Best of the Southeast, Money’s Best Colleges, G.I. Jobs magazine’s Military Friendly Schools, and Abound’s Top 100 Online Colleges nationally, Best Colleges for Adults, and Best Colleges for Military and Veterans.
