Between July 10th and July 13th, 2023, a delegation from International School – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-IS) headed by Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh, undertook a visit and collaborative activities at Institute of Photonics Technology, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, China.
The delegation comprised additional members, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Quang Minh and Dr. Nguyen Xuan Bach from the University of Science and Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST University of Science and Technology).
The VNUIS delegation visited and worked at Institute of Photonics Technology, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, China.
During the visit and work at National Tsing Hua University, the delegation conducted a comprehensive investigation with the intention of fostering future cooperation in research and development of laboratories for the fields of technology and engineering of VNU International School in the future. In the course of their meeting, VNUIS Rector Le Trung Thanh proposed a number of collaboration models in the coming time, including the establishment of a research program focused on quantum optical technology at VNU International School, joint implementation of research projects, exchange programs for students, trainees, and PhD candidates, development of training models + b, research scholarship initiatives, faculty and scientist exchange programs, and various other forms of cooperative activities.

Also at the meeting, representatives of VNU International School, National Tsing Hua University and VAST University of Science and Technology discussed directions for joint research cooperation and construction of laboratories.

The Quantum Optical Group led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh is one of 17 strong research groups of VNU International School. This group has successfully undertaken numerous research projects at various levels, including national, ministerial, departmental, and within VNU. Annually, they contribute 5-7 scientific articles to renowned journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) and ISI/Scopus databases.
