Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Khuong graduated as valedictorian from the University of Commerce, completed a master’s course in financial administration and successfully defended his doctorate thesis on Emerging Market Finance at the University of Grenoble Alpes, France and his thesis on HDR (accreditation to supervise research) at the University of Cergy-Pontoise, France. His main research areas are emerging financial markets, energy finance, volatility modeling and risk management in international capital markets.

He has taught at the Lyon School of Business Administration, the Grenoble Institute of Corporate Governance, and full-time lecturer at the Paris Institute of Commerce. Currently, he is the Deputy Director in charge of international cooperation and research, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Finance, Paris Institute of Management and Business Administration (IPAG Business School). He is also involved in research and teaching at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and many universities in Vietnam.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Khuong ranked 687th in Research.com’s (list of the world’s leading economic and financial scientists) for two consecutive years (2020 and 2021). Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Khuong is also in the list of 42 esteemed scientists in international publication and intellectual property registration of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. In February, 2016 Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Khuong was ranked 7/200 outstanding young economists by RePEc (Research Papers in Economic) project in the world as the result of having the most publications in the past 10 years.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Khuong is currently the President of the Vietnam Association of Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global) based in France, and was the President and General Secretary of the Vietnamese Finance Association in the world (VFAI).

Achievements:
– Author of more than 100 research papers and articles published in prestigious international scientific journals and monographs in UK, France, Germany, USA.
– Editorial Board of more than 10 international economic and financial journals; He is also the head of the organizing committee for many international conferences and forums every year.
