  • Reassessing the objectives in teaching English in Vietnam, and focusing on the target audience and key influencing factors that need to be addressed and invested in the future of English language learning.
  • Changing perspectives on training policies for English teachers, with a focus on investing in learners, enhancing motivation and self-learning capabilities, and building English learning resources to help learners in remote areas access and learn according to their needs.
  • Focusing on investment and rewards for teachers with high-achieving students, rather than solely focusing on teachers as is currently the case.
  • Universities should increase direct admissions for students with international English certificates (such as IELTS, SAT).
  • Paying attention to free teaching projects for the community and creating an English learning environment for students.
