On January 11, 2025, VNU-IS held the Closing Ceremony for the official accreditation assessment of the of the Bachelor’s program in Business Data Analytics and the Master’s program in Financial Management.
According to the assessment team, the learning outcomes of both programs are clearly defined and aligned with the institution’s mission and vision. Diverse teaching methods and assessment approaches have been used to ensure students achieve the expected learning outcomes. Several modern teaching methodologies are widely integrated into the curriculum.
The school places a strong emphasis on developing students’ soft skills, self-learning capabilities, and lifelong learning. Activities such as engaging with industry experts, site visits to enterprises, and financial support for student research initiatives receive significant attention. Additionally, extracurricular activities, opportunities to interact with international students, and participation in short-term exchange programs abroad are notable strengths of the training programs.
The master’s program in Financial Management is designed based on advanced global standards, ensuring both modernity and high applicability in Vietnam. Graduates are equipped with the ability to proficiently use English in their work, studies, and research.
The Bachelor in Business Data Analytics (BDA) program is taught entirely in English and is designed based on a similar program of the University of Pennsylvania and is recognized by Deakin University (Australia). BDA is an interdisciplinary major combining applied mathematics, computer science and business. Students in this major are equipped with methods and tools to exploit information and transform data collected in the business process into useful insights to improve business operational efficiency.
