On November 11, the VNU-International School held a meeting with Professor Manuel Jobert – Vice President in charge of International Cooperation and Francophone Affairs at Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University (France).

Dr. Pham Duc Tho, a lecturer from the Faculty of Applied Sciences at VNU – International School, completed a successful teaching and collaboration visit to KL University in India from October 27-31, 2025, serving as a visiting professor.​

On November 6, 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Management, VNU International School, successfully organized its November Scientific Seminar, bringing together a vibrant academic atmosphere with three in-depth presentations offering valuable insights into scholarly publishing, creative tourism and digital transformation in higher education.

On October 30, students of the Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management program at the VNU – International School (VNU-IS) had the opportunity to engage and learn from an international guest speaker in a special enterprise lecture themed “Global Standards, Local Heart – Building Teams for Vietnam’s Luxury Hotels.”

On November 4, 2025, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced the results of the QS Asia University Rankings 2026 (QS AUR 2026). Accordingly, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) continued to improve its standing: ranked 158th and placed among the top 10.3% of higher education institutions in Asia.

Oct 30th, Hanoi. The air in the main lecture hall at the International School – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-IS) was charged with an eager anticipation recently, as faculty members and a strong contingent of graduate students gathered for a highly anticipated seminar.

In October, students of the Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Management program at the VNU School of Interdisciplinary Studies (VNU-IS) had the opportunity to engage and learn from an international guest speaker in a gues talk on “Omotenashi Mindset – The Japanese Way of Hospitality.”

Ms. Lê Hoài Thu, MA, a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Linguistics, VNU – International School (VNU-IS), has won the “Best Paper Award” at the 2025 International Conference on “English Language Teaching and English-Medium Instruction.”

On October 22, the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Science, Technology, Innovation and Society (IRGSTIS) – a VNU-level strong research group led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đào Thanh Trường – held a meeting to develop its action plan and strategic objectives for the coming years.
