Assoc.Prof.Dr. Stéphane Goutte holds two doctorates in Mathematics and Economics. He received his HDR degree in 2017 from the University of Paris Dauphine. He is a professor at UVSQ Paris-Saclay University and at University of Luxembourg and the Paris Business School. His research focuses on Applied Mathematics and Economics.

He is also Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Financial Analysis (IRFA), Energy Policy (JEPO), and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money (JIFMIM), and is a Member of the Editorial Board of the European Management Review (EMR). His research interests are in the fields of mathematical finance and applied econometrics in energy or commodities.
