On January 5, 2025, the VNU-IS hosted a meeting and training session for 131 students enrolled in the Dual Degree programs in Management and Marketing. These students are set to transfer to VNU-IS’s partner universities later in January 2025. Faculty and staff from the International School, representatives from Keuka College (USA) and HELP University (Malaysia), as well as the students’ parents participated in the event.
During the training session, VNU-IS’s lecturers and staff, and representatives from partners provided valuable and practical information about life in the United States and Malaysia, important regulations at partner universities, essential skills for adapting to new environments, and tips for quickly integrating into the host culture. They encouraged students to be proactive and engaged in their studies. They also emphasized the importance of networking with lecturers, staff and international peers at the partner universities to create a positive impression to the latter.
The year 2024 held special significance as it marked the graduation of the first cohorts of the Dual Degree program in Marketing and Management. Students from these programs gained valuable experiences, acquired useful knowledge, developed essential soft skills, and built long-lasting connections with new friends.
