At the end of September, International School – Vietnam National University , Hanoi (VNU) organized the admissions process for postgraduate programs in the second round of 2023, including Master of Financial Management, Master of International Business, Master of Informatics and Computer Engineering, Doctor of Infomatics and Computer Engineering, and Doctor of Economics and Management.
After reviewing the applications, the Admissions Committee selected 45 candidates, consisting of 11 candidates for the doctoral programs who will defend their research proposals and 34 candidates for the master’s programs who will proceed to the essay writing and interviews.

The admissions session was deemed a success both in terms of quantity and the quality of candidates. Most candidates displayed a strong foundation of knowledge and excellent language skills. Additionally, the candidates were well-prepared for the admissions process and had clear goals in pursuing higher education.
The Admissions Committee assessed the doctoral program candidates quite positively.
Foreign candidates also participated in the defense of their research proposals before the Admissions Committee.
For master’s degree candidates, this year International School received a significant number of applications from former students, including those who graduated with honors and were directly admitted. This demonstrates the school’s commitment to improving the quality of its programs and its ability to attract students. Mr. Le Nhat Minh, a candidate for the Master of Financial Management program, stated that after completing his undergraduate program, he chose to continue his studies at the school because he trusted the institution’s quality, openness, and its commitment to providing the best conditions for students.
This year, International School received numerous applications from former students and staff members for admission to master’s degree programs.
Since its establishment in 2002, International School has been offering postgraduate programs alongside undergraduate programs. Over the past 20 years, the school has contributed to the training of a competent workforce with expertise, foreign language proficiency, and significant contributions to the unit’s development. Currently, the school is offering six master’s degree programs (three granted by VNU, and three in partnership with foreign institutions) and two doctoral programs. Additionally, the school is also implementing three bachelor’s programs combined with master’s programs. During their studies, International School emphasizes problem-solving skills, combining academic knowledge with practical experience. Furthermore, students frequently engage with guest speakers from various industries and participate in real-world company visits.
